19,000 families received aid to repair war-damaged homes from CO "The Tenth of April"

Amid chaos and destruction, may hope take root in our hearts.
Since 2022, the Civic Organization “The Tenth of April” has been traveling to sites of buildings damaged by Russian shelling to provide emergency assistance for home repairs.

Over four years of the full-scale invasion, with the support of the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, the Civic Organization “The Tenth of April” has provided
- assistance to repair homes damaged by Russian shelling to more than 19,000 families;
- support for 275 internally displaced families to repair their new homes.

Our task is to quickly assess the damage, identify families’ needs, and organize assistance:
We travel to the site - conduct a technical assessment - document the extent of the destruction and determine the appropriate solutions — emergency repairs, temporary shelter, or provision of construction materials.

As part of our emergency response, we supply urgent construction materials (OSB boards, tarpaulins, plastic sheeting, and more) and support vulnerable households with installation — covering broken windows and doors and repairing damaged roofs.

To ensure that assistance is delivered quickly, transparently, and in line with actual needs, we work in close coordination with local authorities, partners, and communities.

Ready to respond.
Ready to support.
Ready to rebuild.

We continue to stand with people and restore what has been damaged.
We believe that damaged buildings will once again become safe and comfortable homes for everyone in Ukraine.
