Small Grants Competition for Civil Society Organizations from NGO "The Tenth of April"!

NGO "The Tenth of April", within the framework of the project “Enhancing Response, Protection, and Capacity Building of Affected Communities”, implemented in partnership with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF), announces a Small Grants Competition for civil society organizations (CSOs).

💰 Grant amount: up to 412,497 UAH
🗓 Project implementation period: October 2025 – April 2026
Application deadline: 23:00, September 30, 2025

Applications are open to CSOs operating in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.

Grant funding may be directed to activities under the following priority areas:
🔹 Distribution of emergency assistance such as food, hygiene kits, and winterization items for IDPs and vulnerable households;
🔹 Community-level protection initiatives, including awareness-raising campaigns, psychosocial support programs, and safeguarding the rights of marginalized groups;
🔹 Livelihood recovery and economic empowerment measures;
🔹 Legal aid and support in obtaining documents;
🔹 Innovative service delivery models, such as mobile outreach teams and digital coordination platforms;
🔹 Activities to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities.

The list of priority areas is indicative and does not limit the possibility of submitting projects in other areas.

Eligibility criteria

To participate in the competition, CSOs must meet the following basic criteria:
✅ Be registered in Ukraine as a non-profit organization in accordance with Ukrainian legislation;
✅ Have no evidence of fraud in public sources, including media;
✅ Have at least 1 year of proven operational experience prior to applying for the grant;
✅ Operate in the community/settlement where project activities will be implemented;
✅ Have at least 5 staff members or volunteers.

Preference will be given to organizations:

  • led by or closely collaborating with women’s groups;

  • working with disability rights defenders;

  • supporting Roma community initiatives;

  • collaborating with LGBTIQ+ organizations.

Required documents for application:

  1. Project proposal (Annex 1).

  2. Budget (Annex 2).

  3. Statutory documents.

  4. Documents confirming non-profit status.

After submission, an organizational capacity assessment will be carried out, and mentoring support in organizational development will be provided.
NGO "The Tenth of April" reserves the right to request additional documents to verify the compliance of CSOs and their activities with the established criteria.
